Why You Should Join the Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Janesville provides a safe place for kids ages 6 to 18 to go and to learn and grow as individuals. We provide Janesville families with low or no cost after-school care and an affordable summer program. Our Club programs focus on academic achievement, healthy lifestyles, and building good character.

We are a licensed child care facility and accept Wisconsin Shares. There are also scholarships available through the generous funding from the United Way Blackhawk Region. Please note, you must apply for Wisconsin Shares first to get scholarship funds.

When kids arrive at the Club, they have supervised free time followed by homework help and reading practice (Power Hour), a snack, and a choice of programs and activities which include art, music, reading, fitness, STEM, volunteering, and much more.

How to Become a Member

If your family does not qualify for Wisconsin Shares Childcare funding, you will be eligible for our BGC discounted rate (due to donor and grant funding) of $20 per month during the school year and $70 per week during the summer. (We do ask that you provide two pay stubs that show you are over the income limit or a denial letter from the Department of Children and Families). We understand that this can be a bit confusing and potentially overwhelming, so we are more than happy to help with any questions you may have!
